The New Museum Los Gatos opens Sis Boom Bah!, an exhibition exploring the legends of Los Gatos High School.

The 35th annual Capitola Art and Wine Festival in Capitola Village features the works of more than 150 artists and the wines of 22 Santa Cruz Mountain wineries. An artisan’s marketplace will feature locally made foods and crafts, and a children’s art and music area will offer craft projects and musical play. Enjoy local dance groups, street performers, and live music. The festival is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Representatives from the League of Women Voters will provide nonpartisan, concise explanations of the November 2018 ballot measures at 2 p.m., at the Los Gatos Public Library, 100 Villa Avenue. Ballot measures’ provisions, fiscal effects, main arguments for and against, and the supporters and opponents will be covered.

Concert pianist Ilya Yakushev performs at 2:30 p.m. in the Los Gatos High School Theatre, 20 High School Court. Tickets cost $30 for adults, $25 for seniors, $5 for students, and $65 for a whole family. Doors open at 2 p.m.
